We are seeking a Junior QA Engineer to work on a full-time, hybrid basis in Jawalakhel, Lalitpur, with flexible work-from-home options available. In this role, you will ensure the quality and reliability of our software products through manual and automated testing. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify and resolve issues, define testing strategies, and maintain high standards of quality across all stages of the development lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
- Test Planning and Execution:
- Analyze requirements and create detailed, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing.
- Defect Tracking and Reporting:
- Identify, document, and track defects using a project management tool.
- Collaborate with developers to resolve issues and verify fixes.
- Performance Testing:
- Conduct performance and load testing using tools such as JMeter.
- Analyze performance data and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand project goals and timelines.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning and daily stand-ups.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Stay updated on QA best practices, tools, and trends.
- Contribute to the improvement of QA processes and methodologies.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in UX/UI Design
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and work in an agile environment
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
